Piping & Drumming

 

The Spokane Highland Games Association is a member of the BC Pipers Association.

Pipebands will be performing as massed bands in the opening and closing ceremonies and also will be competing at 1.45.

The William Thomas scholarship of $250 will be awarded to the most promising piper in grade 4 (18 and under), upon recommendation of the adjudicators. Previous winners are exempt. Qualifying competitior must compete in both events, Grade 4.

PIPEBAND COMPETITION

The Spokane Highland Games Association will be offering pipe band competitions again in 2008, for Grades II, III and IV.

The entry fee will remain at $85.

 

The Spokane Highland Games Association may offer, at its sole discretion, to one or more bands, an additional fee for the provision of an entertainment performance in addition to the actual competition performance.

Individual piping and drumming competitions will again be offered in 2008.

Detailed rules and entry forms will be posted in the near future. The competition will be run under the rules of the BC Pipers Association.
