Band & Individual Piping & Drumming Competition & Exhibition
The Spokane Highland Games Association (SHGA) is a member of the British Columbia Pipers Association. We offer competitions for pipe bands (see Pipe Band Events and Rules), and for individual piping and drumming (see Individual Piping and Drumming Events and Rules), on August 4, 2012, during the Spokane Highland Games.
Pipe band competition will start at between 1:30 – 2:00 PM. Individual piping and drumming registration will start at 8:00 AM, competition will start at 8:45 AM. See Pipe Band Events Rules for details of competition, travel money and prize money.

The William Thomas scholarship of $250 will be awarded to the most promising piper in Grade 4 (18 years and under), upon recommendation of the adjudicators. Previous winners are exempt. Qualifying competitors must compete in both events, Grade 4.
The Spokane Highland Games Association may offer, at its sole discretion, to one or more bands, an additional fee for the provision of an entertainment performance in addition to the actual competition performance.
